Haval H6 GT Price in Pakistan
Haval has just introduced a new top variant of the H6 in Pakistan. It is called the H6 GT PHEV. The regular H6 PHEV was already a strong seller here. Now this new GT version brings a sportier body, a lot more power, and a much bigger battery. Here is a simple breakdown of everything you need to know. What Makes the GT Different The H6 GT PHEV is not just a sticker pack on the normal H6. It has its own body shape. It uses a coupe style roofline that slopes down at the back. This gives it a lower and more sporty look than the regular H6, which has a boxier shape. This GT trim is the top model in the whole H6 lineup. Haval already sells this GT version in other countries like Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Brazil, and South Africa. Now Pakistan is added to that list too. There is also an interesting story behind its design. Sazgar COO Ali Hameed told that the H6 GT was first built with the Australian market in mind. He said an Australian engineer worked on the car’s suspension and helped shape how it drives. This matters because Australian roads usually need a firmer and more solid setup compared to cars tuned mainly for comfort. Power and Speed: A Big Jump This is the part that will excite most buyers. The GT still uses the same basic 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine mixed with a plug in hybrid system. But everything has been pushed further. The GT makes about 430 hp combined. The normal H6 PHEV makes 360 hp. That is a jump of 70 hp. More power means faster acceleration. The GT can go from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.58 seconds. The regular H6 PHEV needs about 4.8 seconds for the same run. Those numbers are close to what sports cars offer, which is a big deal for an SUV shaped vehicle. The battery is even more impressive. The GT gets a 35.43 kWh battery. That is almost double the size of the 19 kWh battery in the normal H6 PHEV. Because of this bigger battery, Haval claims an electric only range of up to 183 km. The regular H6 PHEV only offers around 100 km on electric power. With fuel prices always a concern in Pakistan, this extra electric range could help many daily drivers use very little petrol for city trips. Quick specs: The car also has separate front and rear motors. This gives it strong grip and balance, even though it is not a traditional all wheel drive system. Looks: Bold and Mostly Black The GT drops almost all the chrome trim found on the regular H6. Instead, the wheels, window trims, roof rails, and bumper grilles all come in gloss black. This gives the car a much more serious and aggressive look. At the front, there is a new style of grille. Haval calls it the shark bite grille. It has a mesh pattern with sharp angled shapes that look like shark teeth. At the back, the fastback roofline comes with two spoilers. One sits higher on the roof, and a smaller lip spoiler sits just below it. Red brake calipers are visible through the wheels, adding to the sporty theme. The car also rides on Michelin tyres. Inside the Cabin The inside of the GT is mostly the same as the regular H6. The layout of the dashboard and controls has not changed much. What is new are some carbon fiber style trim pieces added around the cabin. No features were removed to make room for the sporty design. The GT still comes with a 14.6 inch touchscreen, a 10.25 inch digital cluster, a head up display, wireless charging, heated and ventilated front seats, dual zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The only real downside is trunk space. The sloped roofline reduces cargo room. The GT offers 392 liters of boot space with the rear seats up. The regular H6 gives around 600 liters. If you fold the rear seats down, which split 60/40, space grows to 1,390 liters. Price and Booking: Still Unknown Haval has not shared the official price of the H6 GT PHEV yet. The company has hinted that pricing may be announced soon, possibly within the next few days or weeks. Bookings and full launch details are expected to follow once pricing is out. Is It Worth Buying? If you liked the regular H6 PHEV but wanted something with a bolder look and real performance, the GT version delivers on both fronts. Nearly double the electric range, 70 more horsepower, a sub 5 second sprint to 100 km/h, and a design that actually backs up its sporty claims. The only thing left to find out is the price, and how it will compare to the growing number of PHEV and hybrid rivals now entering the Pakistani market.
